I’ve been a local for just over a year so I occasionally shop at IGA. It’s very expensive so don’t do all my shopping here. I always go to the serviced checkout as the self service checkouts don’t take cash. Today old bat served me. I’ve had her before and she’s always horrible unlike the others. About six months ago she asked to look in my bag, I was surprised as it was a first. She said it was “Company policy”. Which was interesting as it was the first time I’d been asked. She also didn’t ask anyone else before me in line. I’ve unfortunately had her since (I stopped shopping here for a few months after she asked to look in my bag) but she didn’t ask me again, until today! I squeezed a small juice (The machine was actually working) and the cost was $5. I handed her a $50 note and if looks could kill! She handed me my change but kept the receipt on the bench pinned down with her finger and said she’d need to look in my bag. I put my bag on the bench and she said she wasn’t allowed to touch my bag so I pulled my receipt from under her finger, grabbed my bag and walked out. I don’t intend on coming back. If it’s company policy to check bags, then ask everyone with a bag or else leave decent people alone!

This IGA has become our go-to place for most shopping. Excellent range of morning and lunchtime snacks and friendly staff. Prices are not inflated and fresh produce is excellent.

I called to see if a natural smoked Christmas ham was in stock. The young lady who beautifully answered my call was unsure so put me through to soneone else, who confirmed the availability. I drove from Nambour to Yandina ( because they are worth a short drive) and bought Exactly what I was hoping to buy :) Happy days! Merry Christmas & Thankyou to Yandina IGA

Expensive & has no variety. For example I was after a particular coffee capsules made for Espresotoria coffee ☕ machines but are not compatible with the Nespresso machines. Nowhere to be found. Also couldn't even find powder milk.

Seven people waiting to go through the Express lane with one young guy at the checkout. Totally unacceptable Girl behind the door in the office needed to be prompted to work the checkout. New owners have no idea how to run a business.

Everything you would expect from the big chain. Lots of produce and lots of stock with a wide selection. They have a lot of products that cater for dietary requirements along with fresh bakery good and heaps of hot deli food. Staff are super friendly and service is pretty quick

In the last few years this store has become an absolute joke. Its such a rip off compared to other shops!!! Extremely overpriced, poor quality fruit and veges. They mark items up and then put a special tag on it to give you the impression you're saving. We are not stupid. Shelves are almost always missing stock. This used to be a great IGA, but the new owners are obviously money hungry and do not care about the locals. So many of us already shop elsewhere now. Please do better, or move on!!
